Welcome everyone to my blog, CALL Hadassa!
CALL is both the name of the course for which I created this blog, Computer Assisted Language Learning, and an invitation to *call* me, Hadassa. I put the *call* in asterisks because we do not "call" here. We write.
I am a second year student studying at Orot College in Elkana, Israel majoring in Oral Law (Tosba) and English. The objective of the course, CALL, is to teach future teachers "21st century skills in English teaching. My expectations from the course are to learn how to stay at least a few steps ahead of my students and introduce them to new ways of learning. Computer technology, including educational uses and applications, is a fast-growing field and I am excited to be a part of it.
